"for us, it was no sunscreen followed by baby oil as teens - ouch!" "some people I knew in US also used Crisco which is basically Stork/Lard. I think my mum would agree that when she was little my nan didn't really make a fuss od sun protection either. I remember being covered in suncream when i was little and forced to wear a hat and such so information about sun protection must have got better in the 80's (85) when i was born. I am the same with my 4 i always cover them with cream, hats and tops i couldn't imagine them having to suffer with horrible sun burn and i would feel ever so guilty x A great post!
